Treasury Management Research & Development Analyst

Purpose of Position: The incumbent is accountable for researching and developing new vendor relationships as well as new/enhanced products and services for Treasury Management and other departments (as requested), ensuring proper vendor and project management processes as defined by the Bank's internal controls. Incumbent provides the highest quality of service to every customer, both internally and externally.

Essential Functions:
 Lead the process of researching and evaluating new vendors as well as new/enhanced products and services, ensuring comprehensive due diligence and identifying any potential risks
 Proactively monitor industry changes in products and pricing to ensure that the Bank maintains expertise and remains competitive within the industry
 Develop business cases for new vendors and new/enhanced products and services based on comprehensive research and careful risk assessment; this includes (but is not limited to) information about the following areas: issues prompting changes, description of changes and why they are recommended, timeline, risk assessment, considerations for testing and implementation, client impact, information security measures, costs, changes to internal controls
 Ensure proper and complete Vendor Management process as related to Treasury Management products and services, including all necessary information for Vendor Contract Checklists and thorough review of contracts
 Proactively guide completion of Bank's Project Management forms, ensuring appropriate support and signatures; if revisions are made, ensure that all changes are approved
 Work closely and communicate proactively with the Manager of Treasury Management to ensure timely processes, adequate resources and thorough communication with all relevant parties
 As appropriate, work collaboratively with TM colleagues and other departments to ensure effective preparation for and implementation of new/enhanced products and services

 Bachelor's degree in a business discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
 Three or more years of research and development experience, preferably in financial services or related industries
 Minimum three years of bank experience, preferably in Treasury Management or bank operations
 Demonstrated ability to research vendors, products and services, and develop written business case based on product and financial analysis, applying a comprehensive understanding of requirements while ensuring high quality process and outcome
 Proven ability to manage projects, ensuring appropriate process, documentation and communication throughout; professional project management certification preferred
 General knowledge and understanding of regulations and laws that apply to banks would be helpful
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, exhibiting a high degree of professionalism
 Excellent customer service skills, with strong emphasis on responsiveness
 Proven analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to think critically, evaluate needs and develop a plan of action; high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
 High level of computer proficiency; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and similar applications
