Addictions Licensed Therapist (Addiction Teams)

EmployIndy has partnered with an adult and child health center focused on delivering evidence-based practices to clients of all ages who experience serious mental illness. Their community-based mental health programs are delivered by multi-disciplinary treatment teams who are specifically trained to offer the very best person-centered recovery supports in the behavioral health industry.

The Addictions Therapist will provide culturally competent mental health services to children, adults, and their families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns.

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
• Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical mental health therapy
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling
• Complete clinical documentation within required time frames
• Work hours must be maintained in a way that is responsive to client needs
• Actively participate as a positive treatment team member
• Keep current with updated research and best practices
• Maintain proficiency in use of electronic health record (EHR)

• Master's Degree in social work or other license-eligible field
• Two years of clinical experience treating persons/families with addictions and/or mental illness
• Must be licensed (LCSW and/or LCAC)
• Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation
• Knowledge of industry best practice
• Skill in applying varied interventions with individuals/families in crisis
• Skill in working with a variety of cultures
• Skill in working independently and implementing time management strategies
• Ability to provide necessary self-care
• Ability to demonstrate positive team interactions with other clinic staff
