Lobby Service Attendant – DT Indy

Purpose of Position:
The incumbent monitors the lobby of our Headquarters building, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Incumbent welcomes visitors, determines nature of business, assists as appropriate, and manages building access for staff and all guests.

Essential Functions:
-Greet staff and guests as they enter the building, maintaining a polite and professional demeanor consistent with the Bank's Culture of Excellence; show consideration by acknowledging visitors promptly • High school education or equivalent
- At least three years of experience in customer service
- Experience with security protocols, first response assessment and follow through
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent customer service skills, with strong emphasis placed on responsiveness
- Good problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze, make decisions and/or recommend action, and execute plans
- Ability to think on one's feet and make sound decisions quickly
- Basic knowledge of safety and security standards and guidelines preferred
- Basic computer proficiency, including working knowledge Microsoft Office products
- Manage employee, client, and contractor access to the building
- Check staff IDs (as needed), contacting HR or Facilities when questions or concerns arise
- Welcome visitors and assist with directions or information, offering help in a courteous manner; determine nature of business, announce visitors to appropriate personnel, and escort visitors to elevator as appropriate
- Log all non-employees (vendors, contractors, auditors, examiners and all other guests); issue and collect IDs
- Monitor cameras with views to lobby and other floors as appropriate
- Monitor deliveries and notify related staff as appropriate
- Assess and troubleshoot abnormal or questionable activity, responding quickly and appropriately to ensure the safety of all involved; report to the appropriate department and/or resource
- Maintain familiarity with Bank staff and regular visitors
- Maintain a clean, neat, welcoming environment in the lobby
- Protect the confidentiality of information by not discussing interactions with or information shared by clients and other visitors of the Bank, except as required to address a situation
- Perform emergency housekeeping assistance as needed or requested

Requirements:
