Associate Director, Business Consulting- EmployIndy

Overview 

EmployIndy guides the local workforce ecosystem and makes strategic investments to remove barriers to quality employment for underserved and underrepresented residents. The vision for EmployIndy is clear: for all Marion County residents to have access to services and training necessary to secure a livable wage and grow in a career that meets employer demand for talent.  

 

The Associate Director, Business Consulting will lead and manage customized employer consulting projects for EmployIndy. The Associate Director will design and execute on an annual plan for engaging and securing employers into customized projects that fall outside the pre-packaged assistance provided by current internal programs. The Associate Director, Business Consulting is located at EmployIndy will report to the Vice President, Talent Solutions.  

 

To be successful in this role you will accomplish: 

  • Employers seeing EmployIndy as a trusted partner and advocate for workforce related activities 
  • Creation and successfully execution of a robust annual plan of business consulting engagements including deliverables and timelines. 
  • Collaboration with Business Partnerships team to prospect and secure specialized consulting projects. Successful leveraging of these specialized projects will engage and convert employers into utilizing additional pre-packaged services. 
  • Facilitation of employer-focused convenings, focus groups, lunch & learns to engage our employer base. 
  • Growth of the employer of choice model for Indianapolis  
  • Active collaboration and trust with EmployIndy leadership regarding the needs of the specialized consulting services   
  • Creation of a portfolio of results and success stories   
  • Creation of a program fee model for specialized services

Requirements 

Education and Experience 

  • Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred 
  • 3-4 years' experience in project management or consulting  
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation  
  • Progressive work history with increasing levels of accomplishment required 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of CRM, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite systems
